How did you get started playing and what can we expect from Natalie's Skin?
"Well, Natalie's Skin was created unexpectedly in the summer of 2021 with my girlfriend's (Natalie's) uncle, Anthony Patino. Currently right now I'm finishing an EP called Worthless that'll be released through Phage Tapes. Really excited about that."
Influences?
"Nine Inch Nails (Trent Reznor): As a kid I grew up very isolated by moving around a lot so Nine Inch Nails and music were really my only "friend" that I had.
Alice in Chains: I love Layne Staley because same growing up I started to relate to his struggles with addiction.
Linkin Park (Chester Bennington): As an individual I struggle with depression and lots of mental issues from time to time so Chester Bennington and his lyrics really help me understand myself that maybe I'm not alone and that maybe I can help others just like my influences have helped me."
What are you listening to right now?
"It varies a lot. Right now I'm listening to a lot of 80s, 90s dad rock. I love listening to music that reminds me of my childhood because it helps me dissect who I really am and who I was then and who I am now. It's a weird way I draw from inspiration because my dad is the real reason I wanted to create music because growing up I always visualized myself in creating music because it was really the only way I could really express myself in a honest manner."
